Rob Lucci is a major antagonist in the Egghead Arc (and briefly a reluctant ally). He was originally introduced as part of CP9, reputed as the assassin unit's strongest member in history. But after his defeat by Monkey D. Luffy at Enies Lobby, Lucci was dismissed from CP9 by Spandam. However, within the next two years, Lucci managed to be reinstated into Cipher Pol as part of CP0, this time as Spandam's superior.
After the time skip, Lucci wears a blue-white suit with a white coat draped over his shoulders. His beard has also grown longer and has a small ball on the end. When he is not fighting, his pet pigeon Hattori is usually perched quietly on his right shoulder.
