Dan Da Dan follows high schoolers Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura (aka Okarun), who are very different when it comes to the supernatural—Momo believes in ghosts but thinks aliens are nonsense, while Okarun is all about extraterrestrials but scoffs at spirits. They decide to prove each other wrong, but things take a wild turn when Momo actually gets abducted by aliens, and Okarun ends up possessed by a vengeful spirit called Turbo Granny. Now armed with unexpected abilities, the two find themselves caught in bizarre yet exciting battles against ghosts, aliens, and other strange beings—all while navigating their growing feelings for each other.
