During the Wano Country arc, Luffy wore a long, dark-colored coat over his usual attire. He also swapped his regular sash and pants for a purple and orange-brown one respectively. Luffy's use of Haki, specifically Armament Haki, will turn the objects or limbs imbued with it a blackish-purple color. The term Haki has many meanings, usually focused on will-power or ambition, essentially becoming a visualization of the said person’s will.
