The battle between Majin Buu and Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku starts off at a quick pace, with Goku demonstrating his new powers. Yet Goku holds back, knowing that it is not his place to save the Earth anymore, and he should let the new generation, Goten and Trunks, take over. Still, Majin Buu no longer has the upper hand, yet he regenerates from his every attack, and even shocks Goku by performing one of Vegeta's techniques. After a while, Trunks returns with the Dragon Radar, and Goku, sensing this, returns to his normal state. He says he can't defeat Majin Buu, and then he asks Babidi to wait two days without killing people so Trunks and Goten can complete their training and fight.
