Konan is a kunoichi from Amegakure and a founding member of the original Akatsuki. She is smart, stoic, calm, and level-headed much like her partner, Nagato. As a child, she was bright, compassionate, and relatively cheerful; however, the traumatic events since then have led her to become a very serious person. Nevertheless, she is known for always placing the safety of her team-mates above her own.
Konan is exceptionally skilled in paper ninjutsu, which allows her to manipulate her body and clothing into sheets of paper that she can control and shape at will.
