Kanao Tsuyuri is the adopted sister of Shinobu and Kanae Kocho. She has large and gentle eyes, dark lilac in color and framed by thick eyelashes. Her raven-black hair is tied into a side ponytail and fastened by a pink and green butterfly ornament
Her uniform is a slightly purple-tinted version of the standard Demon Slayer garb, along with a knee-length pleated skirt in place of the usual tattsuke-hakama pants. Over time however, Kanao's skirt was shortened to only cover her thighs, while over this, she wears a short white cloak, fastened on one side by a dark pink triple knot, and knee-high lace-up white boots.
